It’s all about Connection
Mother is an educational, immersive art experience designed to translate the wisdom of a living earth while reconnecting people and the planet. A 6,000 sq ft industrial warehouse in downtown SF is coming to life with plans to expand into a cross-cultural network exploring the symbiotic relationship between people and planetary well being.
It tweaks the idea of immersive as it pushes beyond the pixel through multi-sensory artist-led journeys. Art becomes a metaphor and tangible method through which abstract concepts become concrete reality. The exhibit is using large scale art installations representing the elements of Fire, Earth, Air, and Water as platforms to explore concepts of dynamic balance, networks, structure, space, listening, transformation, and the relationships between people and planetary well being. Using art as a language, the exhibit translates the wisdom of a living earth into an organism in which we play specialized and critical roles.
Each installation will host unique and integrated programming that connects and clarifies relationships between humans, nature, and the flow of energy. Beauty, wonder, and awe are the conduits through which the current will flow to close gaps within and between divergent ideas and ecosystems. Dynamic corporate events, educational field trips, expert panel discussions, mini-conferences, custom group experiences, performances, live feeds, co-working spaces, and plenty of public access are examples of how the space will inspire action and creative collaboration on solutions that uplift our world.
The exhibit is designed to flip hierarchies as we experience ourselves as particles in the air, drops in a vast ocean, seeds in the earth, & sparks from a cosmic flame.
